Optimize your planned or existing virtualized environment.

To realize the diverse benefits of server virtualization, you’ll need to make some important decisions in the crucial planning and design phases. Before committing to a solution, you should have a clear understanding of how your virtualized infrastructure will look, the initial investment required and your prospective cost-savings.

HP offers a rich portfolio of hypervisor-agnostic services to help you plan for new, or to make the most of existing, virtualized environments. HP Insight Capacity Advisor Virtualization Services enable you to select the service level that best fits your needs: planning alone or planning and design services for physical or virtual environments.

These flexible services leverage HP virtualization expertise, HP Insight Capacity Advisor software, and HP Labs capabilities to address the needs of smaller virtualized environments.

Choose from four service levels.

1) Introductory: HP Virtualization Capacity Advisor Planning Assessment

Physical-to-Virtual Analysis, Consolidation, Planning and Recommendation Service

Get the preliminary information you need to make an informed decision on how to move from a physical toward a virtualized environment. Includes a high-level description of the proposed environment, estimated costs of your solution and prospective cost-savings.

2) Intermediate: Virtualization Capacity Advisor Planning & Design Assessment (Physical to Virtual & Virtual to Virtual)

For consolidating from physical to new virtualized environments or for optimizing existing virtualized environments

Once you’ve decided to proceed with server virtualization, get a more in-depth study of your business and virtual server environment architecture requirements. A more detailed understanding of your costs and projected cost-savings. And a roadmap for migrating to the proposed infrastructure.

This service level also helps enhance usage and planning between existing virtualized environments.

3) Intermediate: Virtualization Capacity Advisor Planning & Design Custom Assessment (Physical to Virtual & Virtual to Virtual)

Bundled statement of work option

This level combines planning and design services for consolidating to new virtualized environments with services to help you enhance usage and planning between existing virtualized environments. Services are customized to suit your specific requirements.

4) Advanced / Custom Statement of Work

This level provides for highly customized services encompassing work that is beyond the scope of the Intermediate service options.
