Expert analysis to help you run “greener,” more efficiently and more cost-effectively

HP offers diverse standardized assessment services — delivered by experienced EYP Mission Critical Facilities (EYP MCF) professionals — for data centers and other critical facilities.

Offerings range from risk and reliability audits and infrastructure capacity and demand analysis to an innovative energy efficiency audit program. They can help you save money and realize more effective operations through improved facility planning, assessment, design and cost analysis.

  • Energy Efficiency Analysis — Includes services to compare your PUE and other more granular measures to industry best practice, identify sources of inefficiency, recommend improvement measures and provide improvement cost/benefit estimates.

  • Basic Capacity Survey — Assesses your power and cooling capacity and measures your total facility availability against your business goals. HP collects data on the type, topology and capacity of your facility infrastructure systems and equipment, analyzes it and reports the findings to you.

  • Infrastructure Condition and Capacity Analysis — Evaluates the power and cooling capacity of your facility infrastructure in comparison with your current power and cooling loads, providing you with quantitative information for capacity planning or future expansion.

  • Thermal Quick Assessment — Base-level assessment services featuring a gap analysis comparing your data center cooling capabilities against best practices and a report with recommendations for power and cooling “quick wins.”

  • Thermal Comprehensive Assessment — An in-depth analysis leveraging computational fluid dynamic modeling to provide a facility-wide view of air flows and identify areas where hot-air recirculation may affect high-density installations. Recommends solutions for improving overall cooling effectiveness.

  • Conceptual Data Center Planning — Detailed conceptual planning for all aspects of your new, proposed data center. Includes cost estimates, ROI case and easy-to-follow drawings and schematics, all provided in a single document so that you can more easily communicate your data center plan to stakeholders.

  • Operational Risk Assessment — Evaluates potential downtime risk to your facility and corrective actions that can be applied. HP focuses on both operations and maintenance to identify vulnerabilities associated with building systems, processes, and the most common risk of all: human error.
