This tightly integrated solution is a plug-in to HP Systems Insight Manager. Both are available free of charge as part of your warranty, HP support contract or HP Care Pack service.

The current HP Service Essentials RSP version (A.05.05) provides event monitoring support for nearly all HP servers, storage and SAN environments —plus IBM xSeries and BladeCenter servers that have a support obligation with HP. It also includes automatic retrieval of warranty and support contract details and notifies you 90 and 30 days before service agreement expiration.
In the near future, HP Service Essentials RSP will provide full proactive product coverage. This will allow you to upgrade from ISEE if the current release does not offer all the proactive capabilities you are using today.
