One-stop support for Debian on selected HP servers

HP gives your organization a single point of service accountability for community-supported Debian GNU/Linux distributions. Our close relationship with the Debian community — coupled with our engineering investment to qualify specific distributions to run on selected HP ProLiant and BladeSystem servers — enables us to supplement your in-house expertise in addressing Debian-specific software technical problems and related server issues.

Experienced HP Services professionals collaborate with your IT team to identify Debian GNU/Linux-related problems, and they offer trustworthy advice on known software fixes. For unresolved problems, HP will work with the Debian community to develop bug fixes and help ensure their inclusion in future distributions. 

Software Technical Support 

HP Software Technical Support Service helps you improve performance and availability through telephone and online access to experienced HP Response Center engineers. Service features include:

  • Over-the-phone problem diagnosis, isolation, analysis, and resolution for most issues*
  • Software operational support
  • Installation advisory support
  • Advice on software features and use
  • Remote access for problem investigation using Instant Support Enterprise Edition, HP’s online remote monitoring and support solution
  • Escalation management
  • Third-level engineering support from HP and the Debian GNU/Linux community
  • 9x5 or 24x7 coverage
  • Maximum 2-hour response

*In some cases, HP will submit a problem or issue to the Debian community for resolution. In the meantime, HP will collaborate with your staff to seek a work-around solution.
