Prices are handled in a variety of ways such as providing a discount percentage on the standard trade price or using a customer specific price. In addition, special pricing is setup for projects, and a further price differentiation is made based on the origin of the project. The system calculates the prices accurately and automatically, with special promotions being date driven and the management of the pricing structures is simple.
Using Dynamics AX has enabled Sika to reduce the number of pricing lines required to manage this area by 60%; whilst maintaining their original pricing structure and adding additional flexibility.
Sika NZ has stringent reporting requirements in terms of reporting to group. Dynamics AX has given them the flexibility to reduce the size of their chart of accounts significantly whilst maintaining the level of detail required. With Dynamics AX’s financial dimension functionality users can easily report on various combinations of sub-codes required for group reporting whilst also having the flexibility to report the data at a lower level for management reporting.
