Energy Intellect develops products and services for the electricity energy, including the development of smart meters for commercial and industrial customers.
Dynamics NAV was deployed at Energy Intellect to cater for core financials (including 5 companies including one in Australia, plus intercompany and foreign currency issues), and also handle the projects requirements for the software development projects.
Software development projects are catered for by Dynamics NAV's jobs and resources functionality, so that all costs of development are captured and progress against budget reported.
With the upgrade to V4 in December 2005, Energy Intellect added HP's Webtime product, a web based timesheet entry and approval system. This enabled up to date project costing information to be captured, and now all employees complete a timesheet online.
