As a Microsoft-designated Large Account Reseller, Enterprise Software Advisor, Authorized Government Reseller, Academic Reseller, Authorized Student Select Reseller, HVMS Reseller, and SPLA Reseller, HP provides a global sales channel for Microsoft’s Volume Licensing Programs and Full Package Products. HP Software Licensing & Management Solutions helps commercial, education, government, and not-for-profit organizations make the most of these programs. We’ll work with you to meet your specific needs.

Open License Program

  • Open Business: Save on estimated retail prices by placing an initial order for 5 or more licenses. You can combine Microsoft products to qualify for the 5-license minimum. And you can place additional orders as small as one license over your 2-year term.
  • Open Volume: Obtain greater savings over estimated retail prices with a minimum initial order of 500 points within a product pool of applications, systems, or servers. Each license carries a unit value of at least one point. You can place additional orders as small as one license over your 2-year term.
  • Open Charity: This program allows nonprofit organizations to purchase multiple software licenses at reduced prices by placing an initial order for 5 or more licenses, combine Microsoft products to qualify for the 5-license minimum, and place additional orders as small as one license over the 2-year term.
  • Open Academic: This program allows accredited academic organizations to purchase multiple software licenses at reduced prices by placing an initial order for 5 or more licenses, combine Microsoft products to qualify for the 5-license minimum, and place additional orders as small as one license over the 2-year term.
  • Open License Value: This 3-year contractual software license purchase plan is specifically designed for business organizations with as few as 5 and as many as 250 desktops. Open Value offers the advantages of Software Assurance (see below) to stay current, and the ability to spread payments annually to help with cash flow. A Company-wide Option offers additional savings and a single price per desktop for organizations that want to standardize all their desktops on one or more Microsoft Enterprise Products, and to spread payments annually.

Enterprise License Program

The Microsoft Enterprise Agreement makes it easy to acquire software licenses for standardizing on enterprise products such as Microsoft Office Professional, Microsoft Windows Professional Desktop Upgrade, or Microsoft Core Client Access License (CAL). Pricing levels are determined by the total number of qualified desktops.

  • Level A = 250-2,399 Desktops
  • Level B = 2,400-5,999 Desktops
  • Level C = 6,000-14,999 Desktops
  • Level D = 15,000+ Desktops

Select License Program

Microsoft Select offers a multi-leveled, volume-price solution for product licenses, while enabling easy tracking of license purchases through online order confirmations and annual purchase summaries. Pricing levels are based on a forecast of the total volume of licenses you expect to acquire over a 3-year period. Forecasts are for product pools comprising applications, systems, and servers. Your initial order is entered at the time of enrollment.

  • Level A = Min. 1,500 Units Forecast per Pool
  • Level B = Min. 12,000 Units Forecast per Pool
  • Level C = Min. 30,000 Units Forecast per Pool
  • Level D = Min. 75,000 Units Forecast per Pool

Software Assurance

Microsoft Software Assurance gives you ready access to new technology and provides productivity benefits, support, tools, and training to help you deploy and use your software more efficiently. It lets you acquire the latest software automatically, spread payments annually, and extend the workplace to employees’ homes.

Campus Agreement

Microsoft Campus Agreement is an annual subscription licensing program addressing the unique needs of higher educational institutions. Along with the flexibility of a streamlined agreement and subscription process, you’ll appreciate the simplicity of counting people instead of computers, making it easy to license your entire institution or just a single department.

School Agreement

Microsoft School Agreement is an annual subscription licensing program for primary and secondary schools and districts. With the simplicity of counting computers just once per year, the School Agreement makes it easy for you to license all of your computers, whether in a single school or throughout your district.
