Featuring a base management console and an expanding portfolio of value-added plug-ins, HP Storage Essentials delivers integrated heterogeneous functionality for storage network (DAS, SAN, NAS) management, storage resource management, storage provisioning, and application infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.

HP Storage Essentials Solution Service cuts deployment time and trouble, helps ensure that Storage Essentials fits non-disruptively into your current storage environment, and lets your IT resources stay focused on core tasks and strategic business priorities.

This convenient, cost-effective HP Care Pack service lets you purchase as much or as little support as your Storage Essentials installation and startup effort requires. Choose from three service levels:

• Level 1 - offers basic implementation services: software installation; deployment on up to 10 host servers and associated storage devices; configuration; testing; documentation; and technical orientation. More than 10 hosts can be accommodated at an additional charge.
• Level 2 - brings you all level 1 service features, plus a documented solution designed to meet your specific business needs. This option includes project management; design activities; tailored implementation; testing; orientation; reporting; analysis of reporting data; and recommendations for addressing the business requirements you’ve identified as targets of the Storage Essentials Solution Service.
• Level 3 - includes all level 1 and 2 service features, plus integration of your Storage Essentials storage management solution with HP OpenView and/or other key elements of your larger system management framework. Level 3 service can also be used to create custom reports or for custom design services.
