Simplify implementation and support of your rack-mounted ProLiant DL solution.

HP sets the standard for performance and value in server racks and rack options. Our rack systems combine next-generation structural integrity with multiple ease-of-use features. Helping you maximize total rack space and ease cable management, the HP rack series readily accommodates diverse products such as monitors, keyboards, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS's), power distribution units (PDU's), and switchboxes.

To streamline implementation and enhance ongoing support of your rack solution, HP recommends the following set of base-level service offerings.

Installation & Startup services

Cost-effectively obtain specialized short-term expertise to complement your in-house capabilities and accelerate your time to results.

HP Services offers complete installation and implementation support - including global rollout capabilities - to get your ProLiant-based rack solution up-and-running rapidly, with minimal business disruption. Coverage encompasses all HP racks and rack options, as well as ProLiant hardware, storage, Microsoft and Linux operating software, and the ProLiant Essentials software environment.

Hardware support – now including ProLiant rack and power products

Now you can cover all the options installed in your rack with a single convenient service package. 

HP Care Pack Services for rack-mounted ProLiant DL servers and storage include coverage for the HP-branded hardware options qualified for the server, purchased at the same time or afterward, internal to the enclosure, as well as 22'' and smaller external monitors and tower UPS options up to 3kVA. These items are covered at the same service level and for the same period as the server. Coverage of UPS battery is not included. Standard warranty terms and conditions apply. For servers or storage systems installed within a rack, all HP- qualified rack options installed within the same rack are also covered.

These HP Care Pack services help increase uptime and productivity with rapid-response support on a 24x7 or 13x5 basis. Both options feature same-day 4-hour onsite assistance when service issues cannot be resolved remotely. And both help you enhance the return on your server investment with proven HP Services expertise and consistent support levels across geographically dispersed sites.

HP Modular Cooling System services

The HP Modular Cooling System offers innovative self-cooled racks for high-density server deployments in your data center. Convenient HP Care Pack services are available to streamline system implementation and provide the rapid-response support you need for increased availability and productivity.

  • Installation service — Helps ensure that your new HP Modular Cooling System is installed smoothly, efficiently, and with minimal disruption of your IT and business operations. A highly trained HP Services delivery specialist verifies that pre-installation service prerequisites are met, installs your system, provides a technical orientation, and answers your usage and maintenance questions.
  • On-site support services — Cost-effective HP Care Pack services help minimize downtime due to hardware failure. Support-level options include next business day; 13x5 coverage with 4-hour response; and 24x7 coverage with your choice of 4-hour response or 6-hour call-to-repair service.
