SNAplus2 Link software facilitates communication between an HP 9000 server and an IBM mainframe or an IBM peer system such as the AS/400. The HP ValuPack portfolio offers expert consulting services to help you rapidly and cost-effectively reap the benefits of new SNAplus2 R7 enhancements such as Enterprise Extender for SNA encapsulation over IP, Advanced Program to Program Communication (APPC) Application Suite, Full Duplex APPC, Session Level interface (SLI), and Primary RUI.

SNAplus2 Link Installation and Configuration

HP Services remotely installs SNAplus2 Link software on a qualified HP-UX server. We then configure and test the base SNAplus2 communication link. And we provide your system and network administration staff with advisory consulting on how to integrate the product within your existing infrastructure.

SNAplus2 APPN End Node Installation and Configuration

HP-UX SNAplus2 APPN End Node enables an HP 9000 system to operate at the periphery of an APPN network. HP Services remotely installs and configures the SNAplus2 APPN End Node product on an HP 9000 system, then conducts testing to verify connectivity. This service is normally performed in combination with the prerequisite SNAplus2 Link offering (see above).
