SNA Gateway Onsite Installation
This HP ValuPack service combines remote and onsite consulting to provide you with a fully operational SNA Gateway.
Remote services delivered from the HP Solution Center include data line and system configuration; consulting assistance to your VMS system manager and your IBM interconnect staff in preparation for installation; and base-level installation and configuration of SNA Gateway software on a single system or single cluster. An HP Services professional visits your site to complete the installation; provide an orientation on product maintenance, updates, and operation for your system manager; and conduct operational testing.

SNA Gateway Remote Installation
An HP Services specialist remotely provides a completed SNA Gateway installation, using a single communication line. Deliverables include data line and system configuration; consulting assistance to your VMS system manager and your IBM interconnect staff in preparation for installation; and base-level installation and configuration of an SNA Gateway baseline product.

SNA Gateway Remote Upgrade
Working closely with your system manager, we conduct a pre-update inventory of your system; update/install, configure and test to base level the SNA products and associated SNA access routines your system manager selects, as well as any service tools provided with the upgrade software; and conduct a brief orientation. Your service also includes installation of any applicable Product Authorization Keys and assistance in adjusting system and environmental parameters.

SNA Access Routine Installation (Remote or Onsite)
HP Services installs, configures, and tests SNA access routines, either remotely or at your U.S. location. This service is normally provided in conjunction with an SNA Gateway installation (see above).

SNA Gateway Access Routine Remote Upgrade
Performed in concert with an SNA Gateway Remote Upgrade (see above), this ValuPack includes a pre-update inventory of the system to be updated; update/installation, configuration, and testing of SNA access routines selected by your system manager, as well as any service tools provided with the upgrade software; technical orientation; installation of any applicable Product Authorization Keys; and assistance in adjusting system and environmental parameters.

SNA Server for OpenVMS Alpha Remote Upgrade
HP Services professionals upgrade HP SNA Server from a single existing SNA Synchronous Data Link Control (SDLC) connection through either the HP DECnet SNA Gateway for Synchronous Transport or OpenVMS SNA. We install SNA server software on a single system and configure it to match your SNA SDLC data line configuration.
