PRS is offered at no additional charge for ProLiant servers, AlphaServer systems, and StorageWorks systems that meet the requirements listed below.
ProLiant server hardware & software
- A ProLiant ML, DL, or CL, or a TaskSmart N Series server, under any HP Care Pack Priority Service contract, running Microsoft Windows NT (V4.0 or above) or Windows 2000, to act as a Customer Service Gateway (CSG)
- Insight Manager 7 installed on the CSG
- Management agents installed on all supported managed servers
- Intelligent Services Link installed on the CSG
- An Internet connection
AlphaServer hardware & software
- An AlphaServer GS, ES, or DS series platform with a valid on-site labor product warranty entitlement, and/or an HP Services on-site remedial hardware maintenance support agreement
- Appropriate components of the Web-Based Enterprise Services (WEBES) tools suite installed and activated on the target AlphaServer systems
- A SANworks management appliance or an Intel-based machine running Windows NT or Windows 2000 to act as a Customer Service Gateway (CSG)
- Intelligent Services Link installed on the CSG
- An Internet connection
SAN storage hardware & software
- A StorageWorks MA6000, RA/MA8000, ESA/EMA12000, or EMA16000 using the HSG60/80 controller running ACS firmware Version 8.6 or better, or an Enterprise Virtual Array storage system using an HSV110 controller running VCS firmware Version 1.0 or better; storage system must be within its on-site product warranty period or a current on-site storage hardware support contract must be in place
- A SANworks management appliance or an Intel-based machine, attached to the SAN storage system, with Remote Support Service for Windows NT/Windows 2000 software (includes HP Analyze software) installed and configured to provide a Customer Service Gateway (CSG) for your site
- Intelligent Services Link installed on the CSG
- An Internet connection
