Tape backup and recovery services

HP can provide you with proven tape-based backup and recovery strategies and procedures, testing services, frequency determination, retention policies, backup management design and implementation assistance, for Omniback II or Veritas NetBackup.

Asset protection services

  • Recover-All Service
    HP Recover-All Service helps you protect your corporate assets if disaster strikes your IT operations. Recover-All Service extends your warranty or maintenance support contract to provide priority repair or replacement of HP equipment damaged in a disaster. Coverage includes both natural and man-made events: fire, flood, lightning, and earthquakes, as well as sabotage, viruses, and theft.

Recover-All Service features:

  • Very low monthly fees
  • Repair or replacement of damaged equipment on a "priority one" basis
  • Reimbursement for many costs associated with returning your business to normal operation
  • A working system in a timely fashion instead of an insurance check
  • No deductible
  • No value lost due to depreciation

    Because Recover-All Service helps you quickly resume work on your own equipment at your own site, you may be able to minimize - or even avoid - the disruption and expense of occupying an alternative recovery site. HP typically delivers replacement equipment within 72 hours of disaster verification and equipment order. In the United States and Canada, 72-hour delivery is guaranteed.

  • Accidental Damage Protection
    Accidental Damage Protection extends your warranty or maintenance support contract to provide repair or replacement of HP mobile equipment damaged in an accident or disaster.

    Available for HP laptops, iPaqs, and Tablet PCs, this service gets your "road warriors" and other mobile users back up-and-running fast. It lets you avoid repair or replacement costs from accidental falls, drops, liquid spills, and electrical surges. And it brings you prompt, expert support backed by HP.
