Implementation plan - to define the scope of the implementation and ensure that prerequisites for success are met
Project management - based on the complexity and scope of your implementation effort, HP Services provides a specialist or project manager to act as your single point of contact for high-quality planning and implementation coordination
Equipment procurement/acquisition - for HP and third-party hardware and software components as specified in the Statement of Work
Pre-installation staging - servers, clients, and/or network products are assembled, configured, and, if applicable, tested at a designated staging location, then delivered as an operational network system to your point-of-use
Product integration and installation - all products specified in the Statement of Work are unpacked, inspected, installed, powered-up, connected, configured, and tested; HP Services engineers assist your system administrator and/or network manager in setting up the network parameters for applicable installed products
Orientation - following installation, your designated administrator receives an orientation on network element operations
Provisioning and connection of "external" communications - HP provides for the provisioning and connection to external communication links or networks such as private lines, switched public networks, or the Internet
Acceptance testing and certification - acceptance testing and/or certification of proper network operations according to the test plan or other agreed-upon plans or specifications
As-built documentation - drawings that reflect the network as installed
Implementation report - detailing equipment and software installed or upgraded and warranty or service obligations
