Complement your internal resources with skilled IP telephony specialists.

IP Telephony Implementation is a complex, multifaceted undertaking. There's the need for meticulous planning; pre-installation configuration and testing; upgrading or migration of your multivendor network infrastructure to accommodate your new technology; product installation, integration, start-up, and provisioning; orientation and training of your technical staff - the list goes on and on.

Collaborate with HP Services to take time, trouble, and cost out of the implementation process. Our IP telephony specialists deliver world-class project management, pre-installation planning, procurement, integration, staging, installation, and start-up services for your multivendor network.

HP IP Telephony Implementation Services include:

  • Implementation plan - to define the scope of the implementation and ensure that prerequisites for success are met

  • Project management - based on the complexity and scope of your implementation effort, HP Services provides a specialist or project manager to act as your single point of contact for high-quality planning and implementation coordination

  • Equipment procurement/acquisition - for HP and third-party hardware and software components as specified in the Statement of Work

  • Pre-installation staging - servers, clients, and/or network products are assembled, configured, and, if applicable, tested at a designated staging location, then delivered as an operational network system to your point-of-use

  • Product integration and installation - all products specified in the Statement of Work are unpacked, inspected, installed, powered-up, connected, configured, and tested; HP Services engineers assist your system administrator and/or network manager in setting up the network parameters for applicable installed products

  • Orientation - following installation, your designated administrator receives an orientation on network element operations

  • Provisioning and connection of "external" communications - HP provides for the provisioning and connection to external communication links or networks such as private lines, switched public networks, or the Internet

  • Acceptance testing and certification - acceptance testing and/or certification of proper network operations according to the test plan or other agreed-upon plans or specifications

  • As-built documentation - drawings that reflect the network as installed

  • Implementation report - detailing equipment and software installed or upgraded and warranty or service obligations
