Lay the foundation for success.

When your company is ready to align its identified IT goals with specific IT solutions, it is essential that you have an architecture within which to build, integrate, and evolve these business solutions.

HP's Architecture Concept, based on the HP Global Method for IT Strategy and Architecture, helps you create that architecture during a focused, facilitated workshop. Here, you'll quickly establish a well-defined scope of your enterprise or solution architecture. Under the guidance of experienced HP Services solution architects, you'll analyze key business drivers, goals, and requirements from four points of view: business, functional, technical, and implementation. You'll work together to:

  • Outline the fundamental purpose, value, and use of your information system as a first step in the solution development process
  • Define the scope of the architecture - be it a discrete project, a set of projects in a business initiative or an enterprise-wide plan
  • Develop an architectural overview of the information system that will serve as a basis for timely decision-making

Following the workshop, HP creates a report and presentation that summarizes the workshop results and highlights prioritized business goals and principles and outlines recommended next steps.
