Set your course for business continuity success.

Collaborate with experienced HP Services consultants to plot your continuity strategy, then design an architecture and devise a detailed customized plan for implementing it across your enterprise.

Business Continuity strategy definition
Partner with HP to translate your Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) and other key requirements into fully formulated business continuity strategies. You receive performance-tested strategies targeting various scenarios and durations of potential outages or disasters.

Business Continuity design & implementation
HP Services professionals provide you with a design of an architecture for attaining your recovery objectives and business needs. For selected environments, this may include a complete architectural blueprint. The design is based on your predefined strategy and reflects the strengths of HP's collaborative approach, as well as our wide business continuity experience. You also receive an implementation plan detailing the equipment and resources needed to implement your strategy.

Business Continuity Design & Implementation has three modules depending on your predefined recovery objectives:

  • Disaster tolerant module - provides a Disaster Tolerant infrastructure including data replication for limited or no data loss and for RTOs ranging from near 0 to 8 hours.

  • Business recovery module - provides a shared infrastructure with strong recovery processes for RTOs ranging from 8 to 72 hours with data recovery to the last tape backup.

  • Backup/Restore module - provides the minimal protection against site outages with recovery in multiple days through a hardware replacement plan and tape backup/restore.

As part of the Business Continuity Design and Implementation, HP may integrate supporting technologies such as mirroring, replication, and clustering.

Business Continuity plan development
HP Services consultants design and develop a continuity plan tailored to your business requirements. Your plan outlines the processes, procedures, people, and technologies needed to recover and continue critical IT-based business operations after a service interruption or major catastrophe. Our proven methodology, including training and knowledge transfer, results in a plan that is comprehensive, flexible, and readily understood.
