An HP Services performance specialist configures advanced performance tools to collect data on usage of your CPU, memory, and disk over a 7-day period. The specialist analyzes this profile to identify existing or potential bottlenecks and presents you with recommendations on remedial actions. Findings are documented in a custom report featuring detailed graphical representations of your performance data.
HP Performance Analysis Service is available for HP-UX and MPE/ix systems. A similar offering is available for SAP systems.
Performance resource utilization
HP Performance Resource Utilization Healthcheck Service provides a complete snapshot of your system capacity utilization using HP's leading-edge performance tools. Based on an understanding of your applications, operating environment, and internal IT capabilities, an HP performance specialist configures performance tools to collect data on usage of your CPU, memory, disk, and LAN card activity over 7 days. The specialist analyzes this data and presents recommendations on where you may have opportunities to gain greater productivity from underutilized resources. Results are graphically summarized in a detailed report. To help ensure the long-term stability of your system, it is recommended that this service be performed on a regular basis, particularly for systems with predictable or periodic heavy usage.
HP Performance Resource Utilization Healthcheck Service is available for HP-UX and MPE/ix systems.
Performance tuning implementation
This service is the ideal follow-on to the Performance Analysis or Performance Resource Utilization Healthcheck offerings. An HP Services specialist implements the recommendations of the prior analysis service, tuning your server system to optimized performance levels. The specialist then verifies that tuning results meet your pre-determined objectives. A comprehensive report documents service results and offers specific recommendations for maintaining your system at the tuned performance levels.
