How to save incoming faxes to your PC |
|
|
|

| Step 2: Select Settings once you’ve opened the HP Solution Center. |
| Step 3: Under More Fax Settings, select Fax to PC Setup Wizard. |
| A pop-up message will let you know when you’ve received a new fax. |
|
|
After a one-time setup, your HP Officejet 6500 Wireless All-in-One will automatically save received faxes directly to your PC.
Note: You can only save black and white faxes to PC. Color faxes will print out.
Fax to PC setup instructions:
- Step 1: Open the HP Solution Center
- Step 2: Select Settings
- Step 3: Under More Fax Settings, select Fax to PC Setup Wizard
- Step 4: Follow the onscreen instructions to set up the Fax to PC function
Now that Fax to PC is set up, when you receive a fax, a pop-up message will appear on your PC to let you know that an incoming fax has been stored in the designated folder.
From here, you can open your saved fax document and, if you choose, print a hard copy for your records. |
How to save outgoing faxes to your PC |
