HP is announcing a new set of SAS (Serial Attached SCSI) disks for the Storage CLIM on Integrity NonStop BladeSystems and the NS2000 family of servers. These disks are 2.5” form factor, 2 U in height.
The new disks include:
- 146 GB 15K RPM SAS disk Product ID = BL8415-146
- 300 GB 10K RPM SAS disk Product ID = BL8410-300
We have been offering:
- 72 GB 15K RPM SAS disks Product ID = BL8400-72
- 146 GB 10K RPM SAS disks Product ID = BL8400-146
We will discontinue the 146 GB 10K RPM disk and replace it with the 146 GB 15K RPM disk. Customers who wish to purchase the 146 GB 10K RPM disk can do so through July 31, 2009. We will continue to offer the 72 GB 15K RPM disk until further notice.
The new SAS disks can be ordered as of March 13, 2009. CPSA and QMS are set up to process quotes.
