HP announces new features and capabilities with the latest release of HP NonStop ATM Transaction Analyzer, POS Transaction Analyzer, and SST Operations Bridge software. These three independent products—part of the HP Business Service Management (BSM) solutions portfolio—help IT promote better technology-to-business alignment. Line of business managers have been using these products, with great success, to improve, in real time, the health and vitality of their ATM and POS networks.
With exceptional visual appeal and a secure architecture, NonStop ATM and POS Transaction Analyzers offer powerful insight to help achieve maximum performance of self-service terminal (SST) networks. More and more SST devices appear daily as customers meet their own needs—on their own schedules—at airports, hotels, shopping malls, and other central locations worldwide. Visualize device management
NonStop ATM and POS Transaction Analyzers create enhanced visualizations of data related to trends in all aspects of transaction management, based on monitoring specific logical networks, Financial Industry IDs, retailers, bank ID numbers, response codes, transaction types, and other entities. Line of business managers seeking a real time, graphical view of a specific area of responsibility will find this software of immediate value.
Using highly efficient applications on the MS Windows platform, NonStop Transaction Analyzers extract and transform information data from the NonStop system host database and display it in easy-to-read “live” views customized to specific requirements. An executive dashboard view is also available for a high level, up-to-the-minute view of the business.
An ETL agent gathers details in real time about transactions recorded in ATM and POS Transaction Log files and identifies traffic for all resource nodes defined in a targeted logical network. For example, a typical ATM live dashboard can display KBIs relevant to the number and percentages of transactions received, approved, denied, reversed, and timed-out; along with excessive denial rates, reversals, and stand-in transactions. The dashboard can also show response times for interchanges, switches and hosts, and cash withdrawals.

This solution ties together IT service manageability with critical business initiatives and objectives, to help maximize performance jointly overseen by critical, and interdependent, business units.
Latest enhancements for HP NonStop SST Operations Bridge
- Support for data extraction from BASE24-eps on the HP NonStop platform
- Administrators can use SQL on the Windows server to create complex custom rules to set/reset faults on execution - these faults will drive system behavior along with the more standard SSTOB policies in place
- A new Search and Ad-hoc reporting function to consolidate faults and events over the last few days, with new dynamic views and filters
- A new integrated, web based, report generation front-end plus an out-of-box suite of reports (including availability, fault analysis, and cash management) to assist with printing and export to other formats, such as, PDF, XLS, Image, RTF/Word, HTML archive, etc.
- Support for executing commands in the web interface - earlier this feature was only available on the rich client
- Export any view in the web interface to Excel for further analysis, reference and reporting
- Support for count-based, percentage-based, and cell value-based thresholds - on any view
