| HP is working with BEA Systems to implement BEA WebLogic Server (WLS), BEA WebLogic Integration (WLI), and BEA WebLogic Portal (WLP) on its NonStop servers. This page is a central point for all material related to WLS, WLI, and WLP for NonStop servers and contains links to relevant HP and BEA Web pages. WLS domains are deployable on multiple NonStop server nodes, with single system images of the WLS domains, the NonStop SQL/MX database, and NonStop TMF software across those nodes. NonStop server process persistence, combined with NonStop SQL and NonStop TMF software, enables a WLS differentiation that allows the NonStop server advantages of continuous availability and linear scalability (with inherent manageability) to be exploited transparently. The combination provides Java™ 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application persistence and data integrity: No single failure will affect J2EE applications deployed on WLS on NonStop servers.
The WebLogic products that are supported on HP NonStop servers are identical to the versions that run on other platforms, with transparent access to NonStop fundamentals. Key to the implementations are the HP NonStop Server Toolkits for BEA WebLogic Server. This software implements clustering across NonStop server nodes and provides NonStop SQL/MX and NonStop TM support via a new XA Resource Manager (XARM) interface (only available to WLS applications through WLS infrastructure).
